2: Introduction:


The planetary mixer is a highly efficient mixing equipment used for preparing cathode and anode slurries for lithium-ion batteries. Its unique planetary mixing mechanism enables the slurry to undergo both revolution and rotation movements within the mixing tank, achieving uniform mixing and dispersion of high-viscosity and high-solid-content slurries. This equipment is widely used in the lithium battery industry, particularly in production processes that require high viscosity, uniformity, and stability of the slurry.

 

3: Process Flow:

 

  1. Raw Material Feeding: Active materials, conductive agents, binders, and solvents are added into the mixing tank according to the formula ratio.

  2. Start Mixing: The planetary mixer is started, and the agitator begins to revolve and rotate.

  3. Mixing: During the mixing process, the slurry undergoes multiple shearing and grinding actions to achieve uniform mixing.

  4. Temperature Control: The slurry temperature is controlled through a jacket or cooling system to prevent overheating.

  5. Vacuum Deaeration (Optional): Mixing is performed under vacuum conditions to remove bubbles from the slurry.

  6. Mixing Completion: Mixing is stopped once the predetermined time or viscosity is reached.

  7. Discharge: The prepared slurry is discharged for subsequent coating processes.
